“Guitar hero 5″ é a nova versão do game lançado em 2005 e responsável pela popularização dos jogos musicais, ao lado do rival “Rock band”. O jogador utiliza controles que simulam os instrumentos reais de uma banda, como guitarra e bateria, para reproduzir músicas de bandas conhecidas.

Kurt Cobain, do Nirvana, é o novo roqueiro de ‘Guitar hero 5′. O jogador também poderá escolher outras celebridades no palco, como Johnny Cash, Carlos Santana, Shirley Manson e Matt Bellamy.
Entre as 85 músicas de ‘Guitar hero 5′ estão duas do Nirvana: ‘Smells like tenn spirit’ e ‘Lithium’. A distribuidora NC Games informa que o jogo será lançado em 1º de setembro no Brasi.
Astro do folk norte-americano, Johnny Cash e seu violão também estão no jogo da Activision.
Shirley Manson, vocalista do Garbage, em cena de ‘Guitar hero 5′. A banda tem a música ‘Only happy when it rains’ na trilha do jogo.
